Churchill Tableware
Churchill China was established in the world renown centre of ceramics, Stoke-on-Trent in 1795. Originally made up of a disparate group of potteries, it wasn't until 1984 that it became known as 'Churchill', bringing manufacturing under one roof at its Marlborough Works. Since then Churchill has grown from strength to strength, with a breadth of tableware, mugs and gifts on offer, and has established exciting partnerships with Jamie Oliver, Cath Kidston, Disney and the Royal Horticultural Society, to name but a few.

Churchill Tableware
The company has steadily expanded from its humble beginnings of Sampson Bridgwood, to encompass a number of small ceramic companies that were bought out by the Roper family in the 1928, who to this day remain significant shareholders. Churchill has a long history of supplying tableware to both the hospitality and retail markets, building a reputation as an innovative and reliable supplier of quality products. In 1994 it was floated on the stock exchange.
In more recent years it has acquired Queen's, famous for its finely made bone china; and James Sadler, the master of teapots. Churchill's investment in logistics and working effectively with suppliers means that product is always of an impeccable standard.
